This was a real challenge, a heavily sloping plot with a tight entrance at the end of a small lane, restricting large vehicles.  But the real test was the seventy-six concreted piles, eighty-five individual steel beams and forty-two metre long by three metre high concrete retaining wall that were all required to allow a twenty metre cantilever balcony.  It was difficult to say the least but the clients Testimonial will show how important it was for Bankhead to build the house just as they dreamed.

Situated  on a gorgeous rural plot adjacent to Coulter Woods in Carmunnock, this was a very special build for two amazing clients who were a genuine pleasure to work with.  A true team effort was required to pull this build off under the restrictions of Covid.  It's clear to see we managed it in style and our clients were able to spend Christmas in their dream home.

For this particular project, we had to go through various compliance measures to make sure our work followed stringent industry standards. This stunning eco-house was completed on time and within budget. It’s a great example of our commitment to delivering quality development projects and seeing it through from start to finish despite complications in order to ensure full client satisfaction.

This is a brilliant example of how a sympathetic refurbishment  brought this 200 year old farm steading  into the 21st century.  Facade retention was used to preserve the original stonework, whilst bringing a stunning, contemporary feel to the buildings with all the modern requirements of today's families.

From a stable style utility door to a secret laundry chute, the design of this stunning home ebbed and flowed until very single room was exactly suited to our clients lifestyle and desires.  We strive to create something entirely unique for our clients and it genuinely takes the whole team to achieve this.

Bankhead Developments were appointed by four individual self build  clients to create a cul-de-sac of four large, detached villas. Each bespoke timber frame kit was manufactured and erected on site.

Avonbrook is a stunning conversion of a Farm House and attached barns into six individual dwellings.  Whilst carefully retaining the charm of the original farm, Bankhead added modern spaces which included turning a former sheep pen into a panoramic orangery with views over the Forth Valley.
